Not sure how others can afford broadband internet only on their phone but it’s happening:
The article states:
The big cable companies have said they’ll be able to make up for lost TV
revenue by charging more for broadband Internet connections, imposing
usage caps and offering online TV.
I guess the cable companies still think they have a strangle hold on the public; instead of re-thinking their dying business plan they prefer to raise costs in areas they are losing money in. Seems like a slow death spiral with that model…
