I can’t watch shit any more after that last update. This stupid pos app constantly crashes and relaunches, only to do it again when I try to watch what I have recorded on my got damn hard drive. I can’t even unplag the hd and watch the files on my pc because you greedy heathens locked everything down. WTF is the internet need to record ota tv? WTF can’t you morons use the guide data the stations already provide? My 1996 tv can do it, why can’t you? I am so sick and tired of unreliable crap tech that never works when you need it to. All i wanted to do is watch the fucking game i missed!
What device are you running the Tablo app on?
Roku
Firestick
Etc
???
Is your Tablo wired to your network via ethernet, or using wifi?
Also, better language will get you better advice.
Or the same language will get you banned.
my Roku LT version either crashes out if I try to select the Category view. Works on my Android phone. So something is messed up for me with latest update. Tried clearing the Cache etc, etc, etc ![]()
This hasn’t been my first Rodeo with Tablo.
I mainly use the all channels and that works so I can proceed. I was just checking what the latest update gave me. Reporting so Tablo knows that there is a problem that needs to be addressed.
Hi @Ed_InstrEd ,
If you haven’t tried this already, the following may help:
- Navigate to the Tablo app on your Roku’s home screen
- Hit the star button (*)
- From the menu, select REMOVE APP
- Then from the Roku home screen select SEARCH
- Then type TABLO
- Then select the Tablo app from the search results
- Then select ADD APP
When I got home tonight the app was still going back or crashing. I uninstalled and installed again and seems okay now. I guess I had a bad update. Phew as for the most part Tablo meets my needs. Only need that remote schedule option and manual time recordings (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) ![]()
After the last update this is also happening on my setup. Finicky and unstable.
No it’s a firestick.
Well, I’m sure some folks are having issues that remain to be resolved but I’m using the latest firmware, the latest firestick app and the latest iphone app on two 4Gs and everything is working fine (yes, I know, I’ve just jinxed myself)!
It might be a good idea to reach out to Tablo Support.
If you DM us your email address/ticket number and we’ll flag them.
