Can anyone in Kearney, MO give me a suggestion about what antenna to use to receive the local Kansas City channels with good reception? I have been to the various websites and determined that most are UHF, in a 210 degree direction, about 30-35 mi, and in the Green band. I’ve installed a simple indoor flat model in a window facing 180 degrees. Can get some but most, esp WDAF Fox 4 is very “in/out”?? Any recommendations? What are you using to get good reception? (Prob have to go to a roof mounted outdoor one)??
Televes DiNova Boss Mix or ChannelMaster Extrema 80. They work well outdoors or in the attic. The flat antennas are, as you have found out, generally a waste of money.
This is what I use. Very solid. The Televes products are generally very good. They have a UHF-only version, as well.

Ya, I agree with @sktn77a - this Dinova Boss Mix antenna is compact and works quite well. It even has an amp with two outputs (for example, one for Tablo and one direct to TV) included. Very good for the price. It’ll also receive some hi-vhf channels. I just installed this at my MIL’s and it’s a solid antenna.
I also believe that any of these three different styles of antennae should work for you.
You could try one of these suggestions in your attic first, then move outside on eave or chimney if you need more or a better signal.
