That’s how I ended up aiming my antenna TV, aim the antenna, then remove the Signal Meter device, plugged the Antenna in to the Tablo
Too bad we cannot test signal strength after it passes through the Tablo amplifier. Antenna Mans signal meter give you a percent. With my indoor antenna most major networks are in the 56% range, which is the high end of “Fair”. VHF, channel 7 (ABC) is in the high end of “low”. Typically all networks come in perfect, but channel 7 can be impacted by environmental factors.
I guess I’m in the “you must be rich” (Back to the Future) category. So, I’d just measure one of the other taps off my distribution amp.
When I connected the Signal box with the coax if the Antenna Man box is on, no pass-thru to check the signal, HDMI out only:(
Antenna Man has new signal meters. Get yours at https://antennasignalmeter.com/
Gotta love how even the outside boxes have the Antenna Man logo.
He has them delivered to his house to save warehouse costs and passes the savings to you…

Seriously, this is a good tool for aiming your antenna. I have a Channel Master tuner I inherited from my Mom built in 2016 that has the same firmware. I kept it to assist anyone with antenna aiming.
