Particularly if the leaks regarding Google’s next streaming device are true, it looks like Android TV is evolving to become even more content focused.
The current version of Android TV already supports “channels” so the addition of a channel for Tablo that can then be toggled to be included in the existing Play Next channel would provide similar functionality to the “top shelf” functionality that tvOS offers.
