I have corresponded with TABLO SUPPORT about this, suggesting a “DISC CLEANER” utility be built into the unit (4-tuner Gen 4) instead of having to do a FACTORY RESET to clear these “phanton GBs”, which they say is not good for the unit when done too many times. Anyone else having this problem? ALL recordings have been deleted. This has nothing to do with the app “cache”. This is OVER 1/4 of my storage that is unusable and it continues to build up. Do not suggest an external hard drive ! Thanks !
You also have to delete the schedule for recordings. That’s what gets stored on tablo device and until you unschedule recordings those will stay and take up space. Go to series information and select none for scheduled recordings. I hope this works
I went ahead and deleted all recordings and it freed up all but 13.6MBs which is normal as you said. So maybe try formatting it once more and then check again. Might have a little glich.??? Somehow reformatting might fix it??
